Good Time Swingin' Blues and Rockin' Boogie
Chet and The Committee
Let's have a Blues Party!
This band originally formed in 1999 as Chet and The Automatics
to volunteer set at Rock Christmas for Kids Fundraiser/Toy Drive
held at a groovy little club in La Mesa that you have most likely
heard some folks talk about once in a while called Etta's Place.
I met met a lot of good friends there like Lady Star, Fred Lawson,
Karl Cabbage, Judd Austin and Len Rainey just to name a few. . .
over these many years we have all shared plenty of good times.
Some may be surprised by this, but every now and then we still
get a few of the original cats to knock it around with our band.
Thanks to everyone who has been part of The Committee over
the years as it is only through your help and friendship I've been
able to keep this crazy machine up working as long as we have.
Hollering out to The Sub Committee (as it were) those brave,
talented men and women who hit the stage to lay it down as neccessary to keep this project moving in a forward direction.
Thanks Fred Lawson, Don Jaszewski, Judd Austin and Billy Wear.
We're grooving better all the time and the folks are diggin' it.
For a Good Time. . . be sure that you wear those dancing shoes!
